About Me

My path to nutrition wasn’t a straight line – it was a deeply personal journey shaped by challenges, loss, and a relentless pursuit of better health.

My desire to learn more about how nutrition affects our bodies began while I was attempting to manage my life with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune thyroid disease. After years of conventional treatment, I realised that traditional medicine was only treating the symptoms and never attempted to get to the root of the problem. Over time, my symptoms remained, but the only solution offered was more medication to manage them. I knew there had to be a better way.

The loss of my mum to a brain tumour was a heart-wrenching turning point. It fueled my determination to take control of my health, not just for myself but for my kids too. I promised to be there for them, to be healthy, and to create a life full of vitality and wellness.

I decided it was time to learn more about my condition and ways to heal my body naturally. This desire drove me to study at the award-winning College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM).

During my time at CNM, I focused my scientific research on Type 2 Diabetes, completing five in-depth assignments to support my father, following his diagnosis. This experience deepened my understanding of how nutrition can influence chronic disease – and how powerful targeted changes can be.

After three years of rigorous training – including an intensive year of biomedicine and extensive clinical practice – I earned a distinction in an honours degree-level qualification in naturopathic nutritional therapy. The knowledge I gained allowed me to restore my health, and I’m here to help YOU do the same.
